  • Giverny
    Giverny is a small very picturesque village between Paris and Rouen. It became famous in 1883, when the great painter Claude Monet discovered it through the window of his train and decided to settle there. At the beginning of his life in Giverny, Monet drew inspiration from the surrounding landscape, but little by little concentrates on his garden full of beautiful flowers and featuring a wonderful pond surrounded by a Japanese garden with water lilies.
